Know how your plant is feeling.
Happy Plant is a small sensor that clips onto your plant's pot. It checks sunlight, temperature and soil moisture, and your phone shows a face: happy, meh or sad. No guessing, no charts to decode.
Small enough to forget it's there.
It clips onto the rim of the pot with the probe in the soil and the light sensor facing up. That's the whole setup.
Renders of the current design. Final units may look slightly different.
Three things your plant can't tell you.
Most houseplants die from too much water, too little light, or a cold window. Happy Plant watches all three and puts it in plain words.
Sunlight
Is that spot by the window actually bright enough? Now you'll know.
Temperature
Drafty windows and hot radiators show up before the leaves do.
Soil moisture
Water when it's thirsty, not on a schedule. Overwatering is one of the most common ways houseplants die.
Set up in three steps.
Clip it on
Push the probe into the soil and clip the case onto the pot.
Connect it
Join it to your home Wi-Fi and pair it with the code that comes in your email.
Check the face
Open the app. Happy means leave it alone. Meh or sad tells you exactly why.
Built by a high school student in Florida.
Hi, I'm Jadon. I started Happy Plant after watching too many of my plants die without any warning. I designed the case, wired the sensors and built the app, and the first units are being tested in real pots right now.
